Full job description

Career Opportunities at Acorn Web Offset Ltd. We are looking to recruit an experienced Forklift Truck Driver for immediate start. The successful candidate must have a valid in date FLT counterbalance license and ideally have an additional reel clamp certificate.

The role is to cover holidays and specific production requirements on both the day and night shift. A minimum of 2 weeks’ notice will be given for the shift requirements. Further details will be discussed at interview.

Details:

Salary: £28,058 per annum
Hours: Average 39 hour per week
Shift pattern: 3 on for 3 weeks and 4 on for 1 week
12-hour shifts ( includes a 30- minute paid break)
Shift times: Days & Nights - 06.00am-18.00pm & 18.00pm-06.00am
Full time, Permanent
Monthly pay
Full training, and PPE provided
Immediate start

Duties:

Moving stock around within the warehouse & production areas
Processing pallets of completed stock for distribution
Receive & checking goods against paperwork
Load & unloading goods in a safe manner
Good Housekeeping
Ensure that Company Policies, Health & Safety & Environment ISO procedures are enforced and adhered to
Any other additional duties

Skills required:

Strong communication skills
Positive attitude
Excellent attendance, punctual and efficient
Flexible to meet business needs
Experience of working within warehousing/manufacturing/production environment
Good people skills, ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Strong health and safety awareness
