Full job description

Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Mobile Plant Operator and take charge of operating heavy machinery to support our Recycling Facility

. This energetic role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment, including 360 material handler, shovel or telehandler ( previous experience on 1 is required )

Duties

Operate mobile plant equipment
Conduct pre-operation inspections on machinery to ensure safety and optimal performance
Follow all safety protocols and site procedures to maintain a secure working environment
Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate equipment and techniques
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational logs
Perform basic mechanical checks and minor troubleshooting to keep machinery in top condition

Qualifications

Proven experience of opperating at least one machine
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform routine inspections and minor repairs
Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy machinery operation
Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
