About Precision Timber
Precision Timber is a family-run business specialising in the design, manufacture, and installation of bespoke playgrounds, outdoor equipment, shelters, landscaping features, and educational play products.
We create imaginative outdoor spaces and timber products for schools, nurseries, parks, visitor attractions, and community settings. Much of our work is bespoke and made to order, so this role would suit someone who enjoys variety, practical problem-solving, and taking pride in high-quality workmanship.
The Role
As a Bench Joiner – Products Team, you will be based in our Rotherham workshop producing smaller bespoke timber products and components to a high standard of accuracy, finish, and durability.
This role is focused on our smaller products side, such as mud kitchens, noughts and crosses, seating, small storage units, water walls, and other bespoke timber items used in playgrounds and outdoor learning spaces.
You will work from drawings, measurements, and specifications to manufacture products accurately and efficiently. This is a hands-on workshop role for someone who is confident using woodworking machinery and hand tools, enjoys detailed timber work, and takes pride in producing a neat, well-finished product.
This would suit someone from a bench joinery, cabinet making, furniture making, or bespoke timber manufacturing background.
