Parcelforce Collection & Delivery Driver

Location: 50 Atcham Business Park, Upton Magna, Shrewsbury SY4 4UP

Contract: Temporary

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 07:30 – 17:00

Pay Rate: £15.06 per hour (paid weekly)

Angard Staffing, in partnership with Parcelforce Worldwide, is recruiting Collection & Delivery Drivers to support parcel collections and deliveries across the local area.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy being active, working independently, and delivering outstanding customer service. If you're reliable, motivated, and enjoy being out on the road, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Collection & Delivery Driver, you will:

Conduct daily vehicle safety and compliance checks
Collect and deliver parcels to residential and business customers
Provide a professional, friendly, and dependable service
Sort and organise parcels before delivery route
Follow planned routes using a handheld PDA device

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points
Previous experience or confidence driving long-wheelbase vans
Excellent customer service and communication skills
The ability to safely lift and carry parcels up to 30kg
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
