At Radnor Hills, we’ve been crafting award-winning soft drinks for over 35 years using pure spring water sourced just metres from our site. From bottled and canned drinks to TetraPak products, we proudly supply schools, shops, and supermarkets across the UK.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Shift Manager to join the team at Radnor! You’ll be responsible for the production and people on your shift ensuring the targets to produce quality products are met by the team working safely and efficiently.
Main Duties Will Include:
· Ensure the smooth running of all production lines and management of resources to meet daily KPI’s including OEE.
· Ensure health, safety and food quality compliance with regular briefings, monitoring behaviours and positively promoting a culture of working safely.
· Responsible for quality sign-off, escalating and addressing any issues and ensuring documentation is accurately updated.
· Lead daily meetings and shift handovers providing clear communications to everyone concerned.
· Motivate and manage a team of Operatives and FLT Drivers including the monitoring of absence, conducting reviews and identifying training needs.
· Work closely with the engineering team to agree priorities per shift and to drive continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements
· Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within manufacturing or a food and drink environment.
· Relevant management training and food safety certificates would be an advantage.
· Strong IT skills to include Microsoft Office and proficiency in using production and reporting software.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
· Strong problem-solving skills.
· Organised and assertive
· Ability to work on multiple tasks in a face-paced environment.
Hours and Location
Being based at Heartsease, you’ll need to be able to commute to our rural location and after an initial induction period you will be working 12-hour shifts, 0600 to 1800 and 1800 to 0600 (an average of 42 hours per week).
Pay: We offer a competitive salary dependent on experience.
