Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts and Admin Assistant to join our team. This vital role combines financial administration with general office support, ensuring smooth daily operations and accurate financial record-keeping. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, organized, and ready to contribute to a positive workplace environment.

Duties include:

Assist with data entry, invoice processing, and reconciliation of financial transactions using softwares such as Sage, Quickbooks and Xero
Support the preparation of financial reports in relation to the submission of Vat and MTD
Provide administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing correspondence to clients and general office admin
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all financial activities

Requirements

Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and basic bookkeeping principles
Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Use of Iris Accounts package is favourable
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, and management
Prior experience in administrative support or office management is preferred
Knowledge of general office procedures and proficiency in MS Office applications
