Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent facilities, can seamlessly collaborate with various teams and possesses the motivation to drive up standards and safety.

Although a broad range of building maintenance knowledge and skills are desirable for the role, the make-up of the maintenance team means that we have the need for someone with a carpentry background to fill the role, so that there is a broader mix of skills overall within the team.

Core responsibilities include undertaking a diverse portfolio of maintenance and minor works, such as the repair, adjustment, and replacement of door furniture and locking mechanisms, installation and modification of shelving and fixed furniture, and upkeep of a wide range of internal fixtures including sanitary fittings (e.g. toilet seats, soap dispensers, mirrors). The role also encompasses routine maintenance of drainage systems and plant-related equipment, requiring an awareness of building services infrastructure.
