JN Building Services Ltd is seeking experienced Controls Electricians on a subcontract basis to support a major Building Management System (BMS) installation project at Bournemouth Hospital.
The successful candidates will be responsible for carrying out electrical and controls installation works as part of a wider BMS upgrade programme within a live healthcare environment.
Scope of Works
- Installation of BMS control panels.
- Installation of containment including tray, basket, trunking and conduit.
- Installation and termination of control cabling.
- Wiring of sensors, actuators, valves, meters and other field devices.
- Installation of power supplies and local isolators.
- Working from electrical schematics and control drawings.
- Carrying out electrical installation works to a high standard.
- Ensuring compliance with current regulations, site procedures and health & safety requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of completed works where required.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an Electrician working on commercial or industrial projects.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- ECS/CSCS Card.
- Experience reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
- Experience with containment systems and control cabling installations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Own hand tools and transport.
Desirable Experience
- Previous BMS controls installation experience.
- HVAC controls installation experience.
- Experience working within hospital or healthcare environments.
- IPAF Licence.
- PASMA Licence.
- Inspection and Testing qualifications (2391/2395).
