Salary: £13.68 per hour* (paid monthly) + paid overtime available.
Working hours: 37 hours per week – working 5 days in 7 across Monday - Sunday – 07:00/19:30*
supporting two separate shifts, either 07:00 - 15:00 Letter Deliveries or 13:30 - 19:30 Parcel Deliveries

You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends. Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.
You’ll be required to work one in three Sundays at Winton Delivery Office.

What to expect
This role is physically demanding and fast-paced:

Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)

Driving a Royal Mail van daily

Delivering letters and high volumes of parcels

Busy, time-pressured days, especially during peak periods
About you
We’ll provide full training, a uniform, and an iconic red van. You’ll need:

A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)

Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment

Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags

Reliable and self-motivated

Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
