Private Client Lawyer - Poundbury, Dorset

Hours: 9:00 am - 5:15 pm, Monday to Friday

Salary: £40,000-£90,000 PQE Based

We're looking for an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join our thriving Poundbury office. If you're searching for a role where your skills are valued, your professional growth is supported, and you can genuinely make an impact, this could be the perfect next step.

At Battens, you'll be part of a dynamic and well-established private client team with a rich mixture of experience, ranging from apprentices and trainees to senior lawyers with decades in practice. Our legal secretaries and paralegals play a crucial role in our success, and we pride ourselves on a collaborative culture where knowledge is shared, and everyone supports one another to deliver exceptional client service.

What You'll Do

Manage a diverse caseload across the full range of private client matters
Build strong, lasting relationships with clients
Participate in departmental planning and business development
Work closely with colleagues across the firm to share insights and best practice
Support and mentor junior members of the team while maintaining independence in your own work

What We're Looking For

Minimum 2 years PQE in private client law
Strong technical capability across a broad spectrum of private client matters
A proactive, client-focused mindset
Excellent communication and networking skills
A genuine enthusiasm for business development and team collaboration
