About the role
The successful applicant will join the Student Records team within the Registry department, taking a leading role in managing core student data and overseeing key processes across the student lifecycle. This senior position supports Registration and Enrolment, Assessment and Partnerships activity, driving continuous improvement in how student information is recorded, maintained and analysed. Essential qualities include excellent planning and organisational skills, a strong drive for continuous improvement, and a meticulous approach to accuracy and data quality. As a confident communicator with well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, you will be able to manage competing priorities, support and mentor colleagues, and contribute to the wider objectives of the Registry team.
You will bring a natural curiosity for technical systems, with the ability to quickly learn new tools and processes, including developing confidence in SITS (our student records system) and other systems that support the student journey. In this role, you will act as a specialist lead for the University’s current online assessment platform (WISEflow) and ensure the accuracy of student data for exam board reports and other data requirements. You will supervise the daily work of the Student Records team and play a key role in maintaining high-quality services for students, staff and partnerships. The Registry department is committed to delivering an excellent, customer-focused service, so you must be confident working in a busy, outward-facing environment and responding to queries via email, phone and in person. A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience is required.
Our benefits
In meeting your performance expectations, you’ll receive an annual salary increase in line with the grade of your role. An annual cost of living uplift will be applied, the timing and implementation of which are subject to the University’s decision. AUB provides generous holiday entitlement, and you will be enrolled in the Local Government Pension Scheme (professional services staff) or the Teachers’ Pension Scheme (academic staff) from day one of employment. Along with subsidised bus travel, cycle to work and annual savings schemes, our broad range of benefits can be explored on the AUB careers website
