Customer Account Manager

Sector: Contract Electronics Manufacturing

Salary: Up to £30,000 + discretionary bonus

The Opportunity

Corintech is an international electronics manufacturer looking for a motivated Customer Account Manager to join our team. This is a varied role for a true relationship-builder who takes pride in nurturing their accounts, spotting opportunities to help our customers grow, and ensuring their experience with us is seamless.

What the Role Involves

Account Nurturing: You will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients. Your goal is to move beyond "order processing" and become a trusted partner who understands their business needs.

Quoting & Commercials: A key part of this role involves generating accurate quotes. You’ll need to be comfortable with maths - calculating margins and markups is a daily task to ensure our projects remain profitable for the business and fair for the customer.

Growth & Identification: By staying close to your customers, you’ll identify areas where we can provide more value, helping to grow the accounts.

Project Liaison: You will be the "voice of the customer" internally, working with our production and supply chain teams to make sure we deliver exactly what was promised.

Face-to-Face Meetings: You’ll occasionally visit your customers at their sites to strengthen the relationship and better understand their operations.

About You

Communication: You have a naturally friendly, professional manner and can build rapport easily over the phone and in person.

Numeracy: You’re confident working with numbers and Excel. You don’t need to be a mathematician, but you should enjoy the logic of pricing and margins.

Attention to Detail: In electronics manufacturing, the small details matter. You’ll need a high level of accuracy when handling data and customer specifications.

Driven & Proactive: You are motivated to see your accounts succeed and grow.

Full Driving License: Required for occasional travel to customer sites.

Benefits

Competitive salary: Up to £30k, depending on skills and experience

Working hours : 36.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with flexible start and finish times.

Holidays: 25 days plus bank holidays, increasing annually to a maximum of 30 days

Enjoy a one month paid sabbatical after 6 years of service

We provide full training on our technical processes, so while experience within a similar industry is a bonus, a great attitude and a sharp mind are more important.
