Machinist
Overview

Northey Technologies is a company with a long pedigree which supplies quality products and systems to the process industries. With a manufacturing base in Poole, Dorset this SME produces oil free vacuum pumps and compressors for the water industry, chemical, oil and gas markets. Tailor made systems include complete skids with instrumentation and control.

Skills

We are seeking hard working people with all round skills to join the Production Team, reporting to the Workshop Manager. The work includes assembly, repair and overhaul of compressors, vacuum pumps and the associated skid packages.

Job Description

Based in Poole, Dorset, we have a small workshop with a selection of machine tools and we require a machinist capable of setting and running all or some of the following:

Hyundai twin pallet with Siemens control
Haas Horizontal Machining centre
CNC lathe Fanuc control
XYZ Vertical mill
A selection of manual machine tools

Training and assistance will be provided if necessary. On occasions you will be asked to help out with other workshop duties

Remuneration includes a competitive hourly wage with occasional overtime when necessary.

The position is available for immediate appointment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £12 - £15 per hour depending on experience
