We are currently seeking a CNC miller to join our team in the sub-contract manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in different materials and be able to set and operate 3 and 4 axis Heidenhain controlled machining centres,
Ability to program would be an advantage but not essential
- Must have right to live and work in the UK *Essential*
- Knowledge and use of manual measuring equipment
- Understanding of drawing tolerances and specifications
- Producing machined components to customer drawings and specifications
- Inspection of your own working to drawings
- Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine machining requirements
- Perform tooling changes and adjustments on machinery
- Conduct basic mathematical calculations for measurements and dimensions
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace in the warehouse environment
- Familiarity with tooling procedures and adjustments
