Are you a detail-oriented, driven professional with a passion for criminal law? Our busy criminal defence firm is seeking an experienced Criminal Law Paralegal to join us in providing top-notch representation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist solicitors with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, briefs, and defence statements.
Conduct legal research and organize case files efficiently.
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel with professionalism and discretion.
Track deadlines, court dates, and filing requirements.
Support trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and evidence.
Process legal aid applications.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a paralegal, preferably in criminal law or litigation.
Strong understanding of criminal procedure, court rules, and legal terminology.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
