We're looking for an Appian Solution Architect to join our team in London, United Kingdom in a hybrid working mode. In this role, you will lead the design and technical implementation of scalable Appian-based solutions for enterprise clients. You will play a critical role in shaping digital transformation initiatives, ensuring architecture integrity and enhancing overall solution performance.
Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design and development of Appian-based solutions
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and process models
- Develop and maintain Appian applications, user interfaces and integrations with external systems
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Appian developers and project teams
- Ensure adherence to best practices in Appian development including code quality, performance optimization and security standards
- Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers and QA teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Appian applications and integrations
- Stay updated with the latest Appian features, releases and industry trends to drive continuous improvement
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Appian development with at least 2 years in an architect or lead role
- Strong understanding of the Appian BPM platform, process modeling and Appian plug-ins
- Hands-on experience with Appian integrations (REST, SOAP, RDBMS, etc.)
- Proficiency in Appian SAIL, process design and Appian best practices
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills
- Appian Certified Lead Designer or Appian Certified Architect certification is highly desirable
