Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in engaging with clients, promoting our products and services, and supporting the sales process. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong communication skills and a passion for customer service to develop their career within a dynamic environment. The role involves working closely with clients both face-to-face and via various communication channels, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and professionally.

Responsibilities

Greet customers courteously and provide expert advice on products and services
Assist clients in identifying their needs and recommend suitable solutions
Negotiate terms of sale to achieve mutually beneficial agreements
Manage B2B sales relationships, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and retention
Drive sales through active engagement, follow-up, and relationship-building strategies
Maintain organised records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up tasks
Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and improve overall performance
Utilise IT systems effectively to process orders, update customer information, and generate reports
Demonstrate excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Proven experience in customer service and marketing
Ability to drive a vehicle safely; driving licence is preferred but not essential
Proficiency in IT applications such as MS Office suite and CRM systems
Organised with exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a professional manner

Pay: £12.71-£12.72 per hour
