Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Head Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with energy and expertise. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment focused on collaboration and excellence
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high standards of quality, presentation, and consistency
Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in compliance with food safety regulations
Develop and implement menus that highlight culinary creativity while meeting customer preferences and dietary requirements
Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and ensure efficient performance
Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
Monitor food costs and waste to optimize profitability without compromising quality

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting with strong leadership skills
Extensive culinary experience with a solid understanding of food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively in a high-pressure environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations; certification in food safety is preferred
Strong background in hospitality, restaurant operations, or similar food service environments
Excellent communication skills to lead staff and collaborate across departments
Hands-on kitchen experience combined with strategic management capabilities
