A&P Falmouth- Steelworker / Fabricator
Home to one of the world's largest natural deep-water harbours, A&P Falmouth's facility is one of the largest ship-repair complexes in the UK.
We are looking for Steelworkers / Fabricators with strong craftsmanship and attention to detail to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. Experience as a Steelworker/Fabricator (welder/plater) and/or familiarity with welding techniques (e.g. MMA, MIG, TIG etc.) would be great, we can provide training for the standards we work to.
So, what will you do?
- Fabricate and assemble steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Use metalworking machines such as hydraulic presses, rolls, shears, cutting torches, grinders and drills to bend, cut, form, punch, drill or otherwise form steel/aluminium components.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
And what are we looking for?
- Previous experience as a steelworker/fabricator (welder/plater) or in a similar role, and/or familiarity with welding techniques (e.g. MMA, MIG, TIG etc.), we can train you to get you to the standards we work to.

You'll need the ability to understand technical drawings.

You'll be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
