Full job description

We are looking for a Senior Site Manager to join our team on a large Ministry of Justice (MoJ) project on the Isle of Wight. This is a key leadership role on a high‑profile scheme, offering the opportunity to work within a complex, secure environment and contribute to a project of national significance.

You will play a critical role in leading site operations, managing teams and ensuring that work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading day‑to‑day site operations across designated areas of the project
Managing and supporting Site Managers, supervisors and subcontractors
Ensuring health, safety and environmental standards are consistently met and promoted
Driving quality across all works and ensuring compliance with specifications
Supporting programme delivery, identifying risks and resolving issues proactively
Coordinating with commercial, design and planning teams to maintain alignment
Managing logistics and working effectively within a secure, live project environment
Building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and the wider project team

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager within construction
Experience delivering large or complex projects, ideally within secure, custodial or highly regulated environments (MoJ experience beneficial)
Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary site teams
Excellent understanding of health & safety, quality and site processes
Ability to manage programme pressures and drive delivery performance
A proactive, organised and solutions‑focused approach
Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS and CSCS are desirable
