HMP The Verne | 22.5 Hours per Week | Permanent
At Change Grow Live, we believe that positive change is always possible.
We're looking for a compassionate and organised individual to join our team at HMP The Verne in a unique dual-role position combining frontline recovery support with data and administration responsibilities.
This is an opportunity to work at the heart of an integrated prison healthcare service, supporting individuals to address substance misuse, improve their wellbeing and prepare for a healthier future, while helping ensure the service operates effectively and efficiently.
For many people, custody provides a rare opportunity to step away from the challenges that have shaped their lives and engage with support that can create lasting change.
Working within HMP The Verne, you'll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering recovery-focused interventions that improve health outcomes, reduce harm and support rehabilitation.
Every day brings the opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
About You:
You'll be motivated by helping people make positive changes in their lives and confident balancing people-focused work with strong administrative practice.

Experience within substance misuse, health, social care, criminal justice or a related environment.
-
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
-
Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
-
Confidence maintaining accurate records and working with data systems.
-
The ability to prioritise competing demands and manage a varied workload.
-
A collaborative, solution-focused approach.
-
A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and person-centred support.
Experience within a prison or criminal justice setting would be beneficial, but is not essential.
Please note: This role is subject to Enhanced DBS clearance and enhanced prison vetting.
Part Time Hours: 22.5 per week*
Contract: Permanent
- Please note: Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Deliver one-to-one support, harm reduction advice and wellbeing interventions.

-
Support data quality, reporting and performance monitoring.
-
Coordinate information across teams and stakeholders.
-
Contribute to the smooth operation of an integrated Health and Wellbeing service.
We know that great services are delivered by talented, committed people. That's why we invest in our colleagues and provide opportunities for professional development and career progression.
