Full job description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our dentists in delivering high-quality dental care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures.
Providing chair-side support to patients during treatment, ensuring their comfort and wellbeing.
Preparing and maintaining the dental surgery and equipment, ensuring high standards of infection control are maintained at all times.
Processing dental radiographs and maintaining accurate records of patient care.
Offering appropriate advice and guidance to patients on oral healthcare.
Ensuring that all equipment is maintained and cleaned in accordance with practice protocols.
Contributing to the maintenance of a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements:

Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dental Nurse.
Previous experience working as a Dental Nurse within a dental practice.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with patients and other healthcare professionals.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in dental nursing.
