Job summary
We are seeking to appoint a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team at Greentrees Primary School. The successful candidate will support pupils in accessing learning across the curriculum, helping to ensure they are fully engaged in classroom activities and able to make good progress.
Working closely with the class teacher and wider staff team, you will provide high-quality support tailored to the needs of individuals and groups of pupils. This will include helping to deliver planned learning activities, reinforcing key skills, and supporting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
You will play an important role in promoting independence, confidence, and a positive attitude to learning. The role may also involve supporting pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND, and assisting with personal care or other specific requirements where necessary.
The successful candidate will be patient, enthusiastic, and able to build positive relationships with children, contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive.
We are looking for a patient, calm, and adaptable individual with excellent communication skills, a positive outlook, and the ability to build supportive relationships while working both collaboratively and on their own initiative.

Salary D4 - D6 (depending on experience)
£25,185 - £25,989 per annum, pro-rata per annum

Our School
Greentrees Primary School is a two site two form entry Primary School with a 12 place Resource Base. The school is situated on the outskirts of Salisbury.
The school has strong international links and has an enquiry led skills based broad and balanced curriculum. The school prides itself on its behaviour. It is also committed to teaching children how they learn as well as the content of the curriculum. The school uses Guy Claxton’s 4 Rs of Learning and Carol Dweck’s Growth Mindset model to achieve this.
