About our business:

The Sonas Collection is an award winning, family owned and operated business, comprised of four boutique period properties that have been wonderfully renovated and cared for.

Our main purpose is to deliver warm “Highland Hospitality” to our guests, create great opportunities for our employees and make a difference in our local rural communities.

About The Role:

Currently we have a great opportunity on the Isle of Skye at Duisdale House Hotel.

General Assistants are key in delivering a great guest experience and our brand standards across our hotels. This multiskilled role involves working in front of house and housekeeping, offering plenty of variety and opportunities to learn.

It’s a great opportunity to live and work in one of the UK’s most beautiful places, as we can offer live-in accommodation for the right candidates (rates to be discussed during the interview process).

What we’re looking for:

We’re looking for someone who can uphold our brand standards and deliver a consistently high-quality guest experience. Being guest focussed, proactive in your workstyle and contributing to a positive team environment are essential attributes for this role.

Previous experience in hospitality is desirable and candidates with specific bar experience would be preferred.

Whilst driving is not essential for the role, it would be beneficial to make the most of what the island has to offer.

You must have a valid right to work in the UK.

Pay & Benefits:

Pay is £13.45 per hour (reviewed annually), and you will also receive a fair share of tips.

This is a seasonal position with a contract until the 22nd of November 2026.

A typical working week is based on a minimum of 40 hours per week (5 days over 7).
