2 half days per week, Wednesday 12.45pm-5.00pm and Thursday 9.00am-1.15pm. (8.5 hours in total per week).
*Full flexibility throughout the rest of the week is not required but is preferred for holiday cover.*
The branch is open Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, no evening or weekend work.
Role:
As this position will involve regular contact with customers, good communication skills are essential. Applicants must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure. You will need the ability to communicate easily and effectively with customers. A genuine enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
This role involves;
- Greeting and building a strong rapport with our customers, highlighting the benefits of our services.
- Working as an integral part of a team, being flexible and adapting the way that you work, understanding how you contribute towards the overall financial success of the branch.
- Processing our range of transactions and balancing monies with a high degree of accuracy and compliance to our branch standards.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with any specific legislative, regulatory, or contractual requirements.
The Post Office Banking Hub services include, cash withdraws, cash deposits, cheque deposits and business banking (including change giving).
Criteria:
Desirable criteria:
- Previous experience in a Post Office branch is desirable but not essential as full training can be provided.
- Previous experience in a customer service role with cash handling experience.
Essential criteria:
- Exceptional time management skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
