The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced and driven ERP Programme Manager to lead a high-impact programme over the next 18 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering a major strategic transformation at the University of Portsmouth. You will be central in transformation a variety of legacy finance platforms into an experience that is modern, efficient and user friendly, aligned to our digital principles. This role won't just implement a system, they will modernise systems, streamline processes, manage our staff through substantial positive change and enhance organisational performance across the University.

About the Role

As our ERP Programme Manager, you will:

Lead the end-to-end delivery of a major ERP programme
Drive alignment across business, technology, and stakeholders
Ensure successful implementation, governance, and benefits realisation
Champion best practice in programme delivery and change management

Whilst there is a need to be in Portsmouth a few days a week, hybrid working is available for this role.

The interview dates are to be held 26th June 2026.

This appointment is a fixed-term contract until 26/11/2027

Salary Information:

New appointments will routinely be made to the entry spine point (minimum) for the advertised grade, from where the individual will (in addition to receiving annual cost-of-living-related increases) progress through the pay range to the maximum for the grade, within a reasonable timeframe. A higher starting salary or market supplement may be available for a truly exceptional candidate when circumstances fully justify a departure from our normal policy.
