Full job description

Civils Gang Required – Portsmouth

We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Gang for a long-term infrastructure project based near Portsmouth.

We are looking to take on a gang of 3 or 4 operatives, depending on experience and tickets held.

Gang Requirements:

1 x Ganger (SSSTS preferred)
1 x Excavator Operator
1–2 x Skilled Operatives (with Dumper and Roller tickets)
1 x Operative must hold Slinger/Signaller & Banksman tickets

Essential Tickets & Experience:

Valid CSCS cards
CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) for plant operators
Dumper & Roller tickets (minimum one operative)
Slinger/Signaller & Banksman (minimum one operative)
Proven experience working on civil engineering projects
Ability to work efficiently as a team and maintain high safety standards

Scope of Works (Typical Duties May Include):

Drainage and ducting installation
Excavation and reinstatement
Deep and shallow services
Working around live utilities
Concrete works and associated civils tasks
Safe lifting operations and plant coordination

What’s On Offer:

25 weeks of continuous work
Competitive rates (negotiable depending on experience)
Weekly pay
