- Service and Repair small petrol driven generators / ancillary equipment as well as larger diesel-powered generators that use Perkins, Cummins, Volvo engines, among others
- Diagnose and troubleshoot machines and control systems in our workshop or remotely assisting customers and our own engineers
- PDI, Modify and Inspect Generators before despatch to customer's sites
- Check/Repair returned machines for warranty claims
- Work with the service team and workshop foreman to ensure the workshops runs smoothly
- Source and order parts for routine maintenance and repair of current and obsolete engines and generators if necessary
- Talk to customers in person and on the phone to provide updates/information on jobs in progress or on completion
- Complete paperwork, reports and log/update/complete jobs on our service system
- Occasionally visit customers' sites to service and repair installed generators

To be considered for the role of a Workshop Engineer Apprentice, you will have an interest in technical/practical work and have a passion to work in the engineering industry.
You will also require the following skills and qualifications:
- 2 GCSE's at grade C (4) or above, or equivalents in maths and English
