Vehicle Valeter / Detailer
Location: Nazeing, EN9
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: 5 days per week (including Saturdays)
Days Off: Sunday and one weekday (to be agreed)
About the Role
We're looking for a hardworking, reliable and enthusiastic Vehicle Valeter / Detailer to join our busy used car dealership in Nazeing.
This is much more than a standard valeting role. No two days are the same, and you'll be involved in a variety of tasks that help keep our dealership running smoothly. From preparing vehicles for sale to collecting cars from around the UK, you'll play a key role in maintaining the high standards we're known for.
This position would suit someone who enjoys working independently, has a strong eye for detail and has a genuine passion for cars.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare used vehicles to a high retail standard, inside and out.
- Wash, clean, polish and detail vehicles ready for sale and customer handover.
- Carry out paint decontamination, machine polishing and paint enhancement where required.
- Ensure the showroom, forecourt and vehicle displays are clean, tidy and well presented.
- Move vehicles safely around the dealership and preparation facilities.
- Occasionally collect and deliver vehicles nationwide.
- Assist with transporting vehicles to and from our preparation centre.
- Check vehicles are presentation-ready and report any issues before sale.
- Manage your own workload and organise your day efficiently.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 12 months.
- Confident driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Able to work every Saturday.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience in vehicle valeting or detailing.
- Experience using machine polishers or ceramic coatings.
