We are looking for a passionate and motivated CAMHS Participation Facilitator to join our Children and Young People’s Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs).

This is an exciting opportunity to help ensure that children, young people, and families are at the heart of service design and delivery. You will need to be enthusiastic about co-production, youth engagement, and mental health. You will support meaningful participation activities, enabling young people to shape the services they use and influence real change.

You will provide practical, day-to-day support to CAMHS and Mental Health Support Teams (MHSTs) to plan and deliver meaningful participation activities — such as running groups, collecting feedback, coordinating young people’s involvement in recruitment, and reviewing patient information and resources. Working closely with clinicians and managers, the Facilitator helps turn ideas about participation into tangible action. Ensuring Children, Young People’s and Families experiences and views enable young people to shape the services they use and influence change.

This is a full-time role, we would welcome 30 hours as a minimum. There will be need to travel to site locations both in the East and West Dorset. Being a driver and having use of a vehicle is essential for this role. Make a Real Difference to Young People’s Voices in Dorset .

As a CAMHS Participation Facilitator, you will:
Work directly with children, young people, and families to co-produce improvements in mental health services
Facilitate participation groups, workshops, and engagement activities
Support young people to influence service design, recruitment, and evaluation
Develop innovative and inclusive ways to gather feedback (e.g. surveys, digital tools, creative sessions)
Help ensure services reflect diverse voices, including those who may be underrepresented
Work closely with clinicians, managers, and partner organisations across Dorset

You will play a key role in helping us evidence “You said, we did” and embedding participation in everything we do.
