Personal Assistant to the CEO & Business Operations Coordinator

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Location: E2E HQ, London — primarily office-based
Works closely with: Chief Operating Officer, Partnerships Manager, Events & Marketing Manager and wider E2E team

E2E is the exchange for extraordinary entrepreneurship. We have connected more than 24,000 entrepreneurs, investors, experienced non-executives, business leaders and government influencers, helping to support the growth of ambitious UK businesses.

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with E2E’s CEO while gaining practical experience across business operations, partnerships, events and entrepreneurship.

The Role

We are looking for an intelligent, highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to support E2E’s CEO and help with the smooth day-to-day running of the business.

The primary focus will be managing the CEO’s inbox, diary, meetings, communications and priorities. The successful candidate will also provide practical support across business operations, helping the wider team stay organised and ensuring agreed actions are followed through.

As some members of the team work remotely, part-time or on a consultancy basis, this person will act as an important office-based point of contact. They may also attend selected partnership meetings and represent E2E professionally when the Partnerships Manager is working remotely.

This role would suit an ambitious graduate or early-career professional who wants to learn quickly and gain exposure to executive leadership, partnerships, events and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the CEO’s inbox, prioritising important messages and helping ensure timely responses.
Manage the CEO’s diary, meetings, calls, events and other commitments.
Draft and proofread professional emails and routine correspondence.
Prepare agendas, briefing materials, biographies and relevant documents ahead of meetings.
Maintain a clear record of the CEO’s actions, commitments and follow-ups.
Coordinate CEO and internal meetings, including agendas, actions, owners and agreed deadlines.
Maintain clear action trackers and provide concise progress updates to the CEO and COO.
Help ensure business priorities, decisions and commitments are accurately recorded and followed through.
Identify overdue actions, missing information or practical blockers and escalate them to the appropriate manager.
Maintain business trackers, contact records and shared documents.
Support the preparation and formatting of presentations, reports and other business materials.
Coordinate partnership and event meetings, including invitations, venues, attendees and practical arrangements.
Attend selected partnership meetings, represent E2E professionally, take notes and communicate agreed actions to the Partnerships Manager.
Support partner onboarding, introductions, tracker updates, approved follow-up communications and agreed deliverables.
Assist the Events & Marketing Manager with guest communications, attendee lists, event materials and on-site coordination when required.
Help communication flow effectively between office-based, remote, part-time and consultancy team members.
Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Skills and Experience

Excellent written and spoken English, with strong email-writing and proofreading skills.
Highly organised, accurate and able to manage several priorities at once.
Confident using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
Comfortable using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to draft copy, research and work through tasks at speed.
Some hands-on experience with WordPress, SiteGround or similar website platforms, or the confidence to learn them at pace.
An interest in digital marketing, including email campaigns, social scheduling and basic reporting.
Quick to pick up new operational systems, whether that is a CRM, an event platform or a shared project tracker.
Professional and comfortable communicating with senior business leaders.
Good judgement, initiative and the ability to handle confidential information.
Previous experience in administration, personal assistance, operations, events or partnerships would be helpful, although strong graduate candidates will also be considered.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who is bright, positive, dependable and eager to learn. You should enjoy taking responsibility, solving practical problems and helping a busy team operate effectively.

You will be confident representing E2E and communicating with senior stakeholders, while working collaboratively with the CEO and wider team.

You will also be comfortable attending E2E events in person, including some evenings, and confident putting technology to work in your day-to-day role. This is a junior position, so we care more about aptitude and appetite to learn than a long CV.

This role offers valuable exposure to entrepreneurs, investors, corporate partners and business leaders, with the opportunity to take on greater responsibility as your experience develops.

Pay: From £25,420.00 per year
