Handyperson / Maintenance Operative
BOOM Management Ltd is seeking a reliable, practical and experienced Handyperson / Maintenance Operative to undertake general repairs and maintenance across our student, residential and commercial property portfolio in Lancaster.
The role
Typical duties will include general repairs, minor plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating, sealing, furniture assembly, lock and door repairs, gutter clearance, making good and preparing properties between tenancies.
You will also be expected to diagnose faults, photograph completed work and provide clear job updates through a smartphone.
About you
You must:
- Have experience in general property maintenance
- Be reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Be capable of diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues
- Work neatly and respectfully in occupied properties
- Have a full UK driving licence
- Have your own suitable transport
- Have your own tools and equipment
- Be able to travel between properties across Lancaster and the surrounding area
Own transport and tools are mandatory for this role.
Employment options
The position may be offered on a full-time, part-time or self-employed basis, depending on experience and availability.
Pay will be competitive and based on skills, experience and the working arrangement agreed.
