Quantity Surveyor / Assistant Quantity Surveyor
Huck Construction Ltd – North West

We are looking for a motivated and proactive QS to join our growing team working across healthcare, education, commercial and insurance refurbishment projects throughout the North West.

This role would suit either:

a junior/intermediate QS looking to develop quickly within a growing contractor, or
an organised QS with strong commercial and administrative skills looking for a varied hands-on role.

The role will involve supporting the commercial and operational team across multiple live projects, including:

Interim valuations and final accounts
Variations and change management
Minor estimates and buying duties
Subcontractor accounts and procurement support
Cost tracking and
Commercial correspondence and document control
Invoice and payment tracking support
Site visits and progress reviews where required
Maintaining organised project and commercial records

Key requirements:

Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership
Strong organisation and attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
Competent with Excel and Microsoft Office
Good commercial awareness
Willingness to learn and develop
Ability to manage/prioritise multiple tasks and projects

Experience within refurbishment, healthcare, education or live environment projects would be beneficial but not essential.

We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the business and become a key part of a close-knit team.
