Binny’s Team Member (Barista & Food Prep)

binny & the bean, Longridge

At binny & the bean, we’re passionate about serving exceptional speciality local coffee, fresh homemade food, incredible bakes & pastries and creating a welcoming space where everyone feels at home. We’re looking for a creative, reliable and enthusiastic person to join our growing binny’s team.

This is a hands-on role combining barista duties with food preparation, so you’ll need to be confident behind the coffee machine and comfortable working in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing consistently high-quality speciality coffee and matcha
Producing clean, confident latte art
Preparing fresh sandwiches, salads, açai bowls and other menu items
Creating and baking stock to fill our counter
Delivering outstanding customer service and creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Maintaining excellent food hygiene and cleanliness standards throughout
Restocking, rotating stock and helping keep organised
Opening and closing the shop when required
Working efficiently and calmly, always with a smile, during busy services while maintaining quality

Essential Requirements

Previous speciality coffee barista experience
Confident producing latte art
Previous kitchen or food preparation experience
Excellent customer service skills
A positive, hardworking and reliable attitude
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
High standards of cleanliness, organisation and attention to detail and understanding of kitchen hygiene rules & timings
Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends & bank holidays
