We are looking for a passionate and skilled Family Recovery Coordinator to join our Family Safeguarding Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work directly with families facing complex challenges, helping them overcome substance misuse issues and build safer, healthier futures.
Working closely with Children’s Services and other partner agencies, you will provide intensive, tailored support to families on Child Protection and Child in Need plans—supporting them on their recovery journey and empowering long-term positive change.

About the role
As a Family Recovery Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, person-centred support by:

Supporting individuals and families from initial engagement through to recovery and reintegration

Delivering assessments, recovery plans, and psychosocial interventions
- Working intensively with families experiencing drug and/or alcohol-related challenges

Providing both 1:1 and group interventions (e.g. recovery programmes, parenting support)

Conducting home visits and parenting assessments

Attending and contributing to Child Protection Conferences and multi-agency meetings

Promoting recovery, resilience, and social reintegration into the community
- Supporting access to education, employment, and life skills
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, building strong partnerships with Children’s Services, health professionals, and community organisations.

Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
