Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior / Advanced Stylist (Hairdresser) to join our dynamic salon team. This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for hairdressing and a flair for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will possess advanced technical skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff. The position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a reputable salon environment while providing clients with outstanding hair and beauty services.

Duties

Deliver a wide range of hairdressing services including colouring, cutting, styling, and specialised treatments.
Manage the front desk operations, including appointment scheduling and client consultations.
Provide mentorship and training to junior stylists to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Assist in store management tasks such as stock control, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Engage in upselling products and additional services to maximise sales opportunities.
Cultivate strong relationships with clients through personalised consultations and exceptional customer service.
Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in hairdressing, beauty treatments, and retail products.

Skills

Proven experience with a strong portfolio of work.
A minimum of 2 years recent PQE (post qualification experience)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members.
Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly yet professional demeanour.
Upselling skills combined with a keen eye for detail to enhance client satisfaction and business growth.
