Salary: £36,241.92 per annum (pro rata), auto enrolment pension, employee discount, free on-site parking, annual discretionary driver bonus. Working 48 hours per week- some weekend work required.

You: Reporting to the Distribution Manager, you will be an essential part of our Distribution Team, responsible for the accurate collection of raw milk from farms to delivery to the Dairy at Creamline Diaries Ltd.
You will maximise customer service levels by developing customer/company relationships through exemplary service, and you will actively co-operate with the Distribution team to ensure the most efficient operation of your delivery runs.
A CLASS C LICENCE IS REQUIRED AS A MINIMUM.
Main Responsibilities:
· To be responsible for the safe loading and storage of raw milk on your vehicle and to comply with vehicle weight restrictions.
· When required, test the raw milk before collection for antibiotics.
· To ensure the raw milk is transferred from the tanker to the silos at the Dairy adhering to safety procedures.
· Perform “Clean in Progress” (CIP) on tanker on a daily basis.
· To operate your vehicle in a safe manner with due regard to road conditions and road traffic regulations/speed limits so as not to endanger other road users or pedestrians.
· To be responsible for vehicle pre-driving checks, (fuel, oil, tyres, lights, accident damage etc.) and to report any vehicle defects in the defect book. To accept responsible for the housekeeping and cleaning of your own vehicle including scheduled cleaning regimes.
· To ensure that the high standards of representation, product quality and Company image are maintained.
· To ensure that driver tachograph regulations are adhered to at all time and to co-operate with management when reviewing driver infringements and assisting in run changes where this will aid efficiencies or to accommodate new farmers.
· Undertake your duties in a safe and efficient manner and be aware of and comply with you obligations under the Health & Safety at Work Act. Also, participate in all training, e.g. manual handling and adhere to all company rules and procedures and remain DTAS compliant
· To be of smart appearance and wear your uniform / protective clothing at all times when on company business and ensure that this is maintained in a clean laundered condition.
· To undertake any such duties and responsibilities as directed by your supervisor which will assist the Company to meet its objectives and/or which will contribute to your own personal development
You Demonstrate: a drive to ensure that our customers get quality products, safely, on time and in the most cost-efficient manner. Your key experience, skills and qualifications, include:
· A current driving licence Minimum Class C licence essential.
· Previous tanker experience
· Knowledge of vehicle safe loading capacities
· Competence in the operation of manual and digital Tachograph systems
· Manual handling training
· Knowledge and awareness of company policies and procedures
· Numeracy and customer care focus
· Good communication skills
· Organisational and planning skills
· Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
