We are seeking a talented and analytical Data Scientist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex datasets to generate actionable insights, develop predictive models, and support data-driven business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to solve business challenges using advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyse large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Develop predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and statistical analyses to solve business problems.
- Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities through data exploration and modelling.
- Design and implement data-driven solutions to improve business performance.
- Collaborate with business, product, engineering, and leadership teams to understand analytical requirements.
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualisations to communicate findings effectively.
- Validate model performance and continuously optimise analytical solutions.
- Conduct A/B testing and experimental analysis to support strategic initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with governance standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in data science and artificial intelligence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, analytics, or a related role.
- Strong proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modelling, and machine learning techniques.
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and analytical methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or XGBoost.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Databricks.
- Knowledge of natural language processing (NLP), deep learning, or artificial intelligence techniques.
- Experience with MLOps and model deployment practices.

Pay: £65,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
