We are looking for an Early Years/ Nursery Teacher to join our friendly nursery team. To work with children from 2- 4 years old.
The ideal candidate must have a relevant qualification - EYT / EYPS / QTS (Level 6)/ PGCE and a minimum 2 years relevant nursery experience. Experience in a similar role preferred but not a deal breaker. (Please only apply if you have the relevant qualifications)
You will need to be enthusiastic, nurturing, passionate and professional .We would like someone who is highly motivated and has the drive and enthusiasm to maintain very high standards of care and education. Capable of leading the curriculum and developing other staff members.
You will need a good knowledge of phonics and working with the EYFS.
You be will be responsible for planning , assessing individual needs of the children. Creating a safe environment for children to explore and thrive in.
Duties include:
- Stimulating emotional, intellectual, and social growth of children.
- Ensuring consistency of high levels of care and education maintained.
- Updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organisations.
- Supporting the delivery of the key person approach.
- To provide an enabling environment and stimulating and inspiring activities for the children in both the indoor and outdoor area.
- To ensure that British Values are incorporated and demonstrated through learning and play.
- To safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children in line with our child protection and safeguarding policies.
- To ensure that internal policies and procedures are followed whilst also meeting statutory childcare legislation.
- To work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children ensuring a diverse and inclusive approach is maintained at all times.

We are looking for a qualification of minimum NVQ Level 3 in childcare with a minimum of 2 years working in a nursery. As a Nursery Nurse you should be able to work well within a team, as well as developing good relationships with parents.

We are happy to consider full-time or part-time (4 days/32 hours per week) for this position. Very Competitive rates of pay - subject to experience

- Our nurseries operate 51 weeks per year, from 7.30 am - 6 pm. We do not offer school hours or term-time only positions.
