Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Housekeeper to oversee cleaning operations and maintain high standards of cleanliness within 4 star boutique hotel.This part-time position offers 20-25 hours per week over 4/5 days including weekends and requires a strong background in housekeeping . The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading cleaning staff, ensuring quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

THIS POSITION IS NOT ADMIN BASED AND BEING A SMALL BOUTIQUE HOTEL it can be sometimes all hands on deck.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY WITH A MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR HOTEL HEAD HOUSEKEEPING EXPERIENCE or you will be rejected.

Responsibilities'

Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities to ensure cleanliness and organization
Develop and implement cleaning schedules for various areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas
Train and mentor housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and equipment use
Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness standards and identify areas for improvement
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring timely replenishment
Collaborate with management to address guest or client requests related to cleanliness or maintenance issues
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Proven experience in cleaning with a focus on housekeeping management
Previous hotel is essential
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a part-time schedule of 20-25 hours per week
Knowledge of safety procedures related to custodial work and industrial cleaning practices

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £15.00 per hour
