Established over 100 years ago, J. Exley Ltd are trusted experts in heavy lifting and machinery logistics across the UK and internationally. We are currently seeking a Class 1 Driver with CPCS or ALLIMI Lorry Loader Hook qualification and counterbalance forklift to join our team.

Duties and responsibilities of the Class 1 Driver role include:
- Delivering and collecting a variety of consignments from locations throughout the UK
- Securing and sheeting high value delicate loads for transport
- Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of goods
- Operating forklifts and specialist plant (full training will be provided)
Qualifications/ Skills Required:
- Full UK Driving License
- Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) License (Essential)
- 2+ years Class 1 driving experience
- Forklift Truck License
- Up to Date CPC and Digital Tacho card
- CPCS lorry loader or ALLMI lorry loader operator qualification
- Experience moving heavy and abnormal loads (Desirable)
- Slinger/ Signaller/ Banksman (Desirable)

The job does require flexibility - early starts, late finishes, and nights away are all part of the role as is occasional weekend work. There is a generous daily and weekend overtime structure to compensate.
