Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. This role involves overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring the achievement of sales targets while maintaining high standards of merchandising and store presentation. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in driving store success and fostering a positive visiting experienc.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
Supervise daily store operations, including stock management, merchandising, and visual presentation.
Organise staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during all operating hours.
Implement sales strategies and promotional activities to maximise revenue.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for timely replenishment.
Conduct staff training programmes to enhance product knowledge and customer engagement skills.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and safety within the store environment.
Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally via phone or in person.
Analyse sales data and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decisions.
Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety regulations, and legal requirements.

Experience

Proven management experience within the retail sector, ideally in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong team management skills with the ability to inspire and develop staff members.
Demonstrable experience in sales management, merchandising, and inventory control.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
Organisational skills with an aptitude for time management and prioritisation of tasks.
Administrative experience including staff scheduling, reporting, and record keeping.
Proficiency in using retail management software or POS systems is preferred.
Previous experience in customer service roles demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and organisational skills is beneficial. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual eager to lead a vibrant retail environment while developing their managerial career within our organisation.

Pay: From £33,000.00 per year
