MIG Welder/ Fabricator

An opportunity has now arisen to work within our welding department as a welder who will be expected to be able to read drawings and weld to a high standard. This role will consist of welding new refuse/Linen chutes systems along with replacement Hopper Doors and Discharge sections.

Key Responsibilities: -
· Welding new refuse/Linen chutes systems along with replacement Hopper Doors and Discharge sections.
· Operating sanders, machinery and welding equipment.
· Working safe under the companies Health and Safety guidelines.
· Checking the quality before and after the welding.
· Palletising / manoeuvring parts using lifting aids.
· Maintaining a high level of housekeeping.
Knowledge/Skills/ Experience:-
Essential:-
· Previous experience in MIG welding.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Organised and adapt at managing and prioritising workload.
· Ability to work in a small team.
· Must have an understanding on various metals.
· Must be able to follow drawings accurately.
· Minimum of 1 year of welding experience
Desirable:-
· Be able to operate fabrication machinery safely and effectively.
Fabrication: 1 year (preferred)

PPE Provided; RPE kit, safety glasses, ear defenders etc.
