Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, exceptional leadership qualities, and a proven track record in retail or sales management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the strategic direction of our business, optimise team performance, and ensure excellent customer service. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing teams, driving sales, and maintaining organisational efficiency across all departments.

Responsibilities

Lead and motivate the management team to achieve organisational goals and uphold high standards of service.
Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales, improve customer satisfaction, and expand market presence.
Supervise staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
Manage merchandising strategies to optimise product presentation and maximise sales opportunities.
Maintain effective communication channels within the team and with external stakeholders.
Organise schedules, delegate tasks appropriately, and ensure adherence to organisational policies.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all operational areas.
Foster a positive organisational culture centred on teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

Proven management experience within retail or sales environments; supervising teams is essential.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff at all levels.
Excellent organisational skills with effective time management capabilities.
Exceptional communication skills; fluency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly desirable.
Demonstrated experience in merchandising, sales management, and administrative functions.
Proficient in using organisational tools such as scheduling software and financial management systems.
Outstanding phone etiquette and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and staff alike.
Previous experience in retail management or similar roles is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
