About your team
Early Careers Recruitment is part of the Chief People Office and works closely with business leaders, programme management, Talent Acquisition, HR and external partners to attract, assess and hire bright minds and diverse perspectives into Fidelity International. We recruit and engage future talent across graduate, intern, apprentice, insight and pipeline programmes, helping individuals take the first steps in their professional journeys while building the skills and potential our business needs for the future.
The team acts as a brand ambassador for Fidelity International and owns the candidate experience across early careers hiring. We combine relationship-led attraction, inclusive assessment, data-driven decision making and strong operational delivery to ensure our programmes are compelling, consistent, scalable and fair.
About your role
You will be responsible for delivering early careers recruitment across assigned business areas and programmes, including graduate, intern and apprentice hiring. This role would suit someone who has already owned recruitment campaigns or substantial recruitment workstreams, can partner directly with stakeholders, and is comfortable balancing hands-on delivery with the judgement needed to shape fair, consistent and scalable hiring outcomes. Working closely with business stakeholders, HR colleagues and the wider Early Careers team, you will:
- Own end-to-end recruitment activity across assigned early careers programmes, from attraction and selection through to offer management, onboarding handover and campaign review.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand hiring needs, shape plans and influence decisions that support fair, efficient and high-quality outcomes.
- Help stakeholders understand and adopt consistent early careers recruitment processes, while ensuring business needs are properly understood and represented.
- Act as an early careers subject matter expert, advising on market trends, candidate expectations, assessment, diversity considerations and scalable programme-level ways of working.
- Deliver and continuously improve inclusive, well-governed selection activity, including screening, interviews, assessment centres, candidate communications and assessor briefing.
- Represent Fidelity International at university, school, college, partner and pipeline-building events across the UK and Ireland, bringing our employer brand to life for a broad range of talent.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with universities, schools, colleges, student societies, social mobility partners, diversity partners and other organisations that help us reach high-potential talent.
- Use data, market insight and candidate feedback to monitor performance, identify risks and recommend improvements to attraction, assessment and hiring outcomes.
- Work with internal communications, marketing, programme management, suppliers and wider Talent Acquisition colleagues to deliver joined-up campaigns, consistent messaging and a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders.
- Some travel across the UK and Ireland will be required during peak campus and schools engagement periods, including occasional early mornings or evenings.
About you
- You will have proven experience delivering early careers recruitment, ideally across graduate, internship and apprenticeship hiring in a complex organisation.
- You will be confident operating independently, balancing strategic partnering with hands-on delivery across multiple campaigns and stakeholder groups.
- You will bring strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility, challenge constructively and gain buy-in to consistent, fair and scalable recruitment processes.
- You will understand early careers attraction channels, including university and school engagement, student societies, social mobility and diversity partnerships, and the UK/Ireland early talent market.
- You will have experience delivering inclusive, evidence-based assessment and selection processes, with a strong focus on candidate potential and experience.
- You will be a confident presenter and facilitator, comfortable representing Fidelity International at campus, school, college, virtual and in-house events.
- You will be data literate, highly organised and comfortable using recruitment metrics, market insight and candidate feedback to improve future campaigns
- You will be comfortable using applicant tracking systems, recruitment data and Microsoft Office tools; experience with CRM, event, assessment or recruitment marketing platforms would be useful.
