Job Introduction

Pinnacle Group is looking for a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at one of our schools. You will be joining our Facilities Team at Abbey Park School in Swindon.

Your role will involve general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste management to ensure that the internal school facilities are cleaned to the required standard as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor.

You will be reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering excellence. If you take pride in your work and have a passion for creating clean, safe spaces, we encourage you to apply.

This is a temporary, part-time role for 15 hours a week, 6PM-9PM Monday-Friday. This is a temporary role to end on 29th May 2026.

Key responsibilities:

To ensure classrooms, toilets, offices, changing rooms and all allocated areas are cleaned to a good standard.
To comply with the service level agreement
To ensure appropriate PPE/Uniform are always used during working hours.
To take instruction and advice from the Cleaning Supervisor / Manager
Operating cleaning equipment.
Replenishing consumables such as toilet paper, hand soap & towels
Vacuum all soft floors and carpets, including barrier matting
To ensure you are adhering to COSHH, Health & Safety regulations and best operating practices as trained.

Key requirements:

Good communication skills
The ability to work as part of a team and be able to demonstrate initiative.
Cleaning experience in a school environment would be preferred.
Good knowledge of COSHH / Health & Safety Practices while at work.
To be able to demonstrate the behaviours required as outlined in the Living the Values section of the Pinnacle.
