What you’ll get working with JM Building Contractors
- Employed role with guaranteed 40 hours per week (8am–4.30pm)
- Opportunities for overtime – busier spring/summer/autumn periods

About the role – Carpenter / Multi-trade
We’re looking for a skilled Carpenter who’s confident across:
- First and second fix
- Kitchen fitting
- Roof work (inc cut roofs)
- General joinery
- Multi-trade tasks
- External Work
You’ll be hands-on, tidy, and take pride in finishing jobs properly. You’ll also be happy to get stuck into other tasks when needed – helping with labouring, cleaning up, and working alongside other trades. It’s about getting the job done as a team.

- Have solid experience in carpentry and multi-trade work

What we’re looking for
- 3+ years carpentry experience
- NVQ Level 2+ (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Own hand tools and all power tools
- Eligibility to work in the UK
