The Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Training and Health & Safety Manager to lead and develop our company-wide training and compliance strategy, while also supporting key operational activities.

This is a pivotal role focused on ensuring all employees are fully trained, competent, and operating in line with the highest health & safety standards, alongside contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of services across our nationwide operations.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of company-wide training strategies and programmes
Deliver training to internal staff and external clients in line with BESA TR-19 standards
Ensure all employees are trained, certified, and compliant with relevant regulations
Take full ownership of health & safety across all operations
Ensure compliance with all legislation, standards, and industry best practices
Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and site inspections
Develop and maintain safe systems of work across all operational activities
Support operational teams in maintaining high safety, compliance, and service standards
Assist with the day-to-day operational oversight across multiple sites when required
Work closely with operations management to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement
Monitor and improve training effectiveness and workforce capability

Essential Requirements

Comprehensive kitchen duct cleaning experience
Extensive experience within the facilities management sector
Strong background in training delivery, coaching, and workforce development
Train the Trainer qualification (essential)
Recognised Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of compliance standards, including BESA TR-19
Proven experience managing health & safety systems and compliance frameworks
Demonstrable experience supporting or working alongside operational teams
Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities
