Join us on our journey and you will too… What you’ll do… • Lead complex technical projects within the specialist area • Develop and implement best practices and standards • Mentor junior specialists and team members • Collaborate with other departments to align specialist work with broader objectives • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and methodologies • Conduct root cause analysis for critical issues • Lead proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot projects • Represent the specialist team in inter-departmental meetings • Contribute to the development of technical strategies • Oversee the implementation of complex technical solutions • Provide expert consultation on critical technical decisions • Foster innovation within the team • Contribute to thought leadership through articles, presentations, or whitepapers What You’ll Need: • Experience in Customer Communications: Proven experience in the customer communications domain, with a track record of leading technological changes in this area. • Domain Expertise: In-depth understanding of key LBG areas such as Banking, Homes, Insurance, and Investments, and how technology can address communication needs in these sectors. • Customer-Centric Approach: A strong focus on ensuring we utilise our technology to consistently meets the communication expectations of our customers at Lloyds Banking Group. • Analytical Problem-Solving: The ability to tackle complex problems with a data driven mindset, strategically seeking solutions that align with the long-term goals of Lloyds Banking Group in the customer communications field. • Stakeholder Management: Excellent skills in managing stakeholders and seamlessly bridging the gap between Business and Technology teams to achieve optimal outcomes for customers. • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work across different functions and assist our Integrators in managing complex technical dependencies both upstream and downstream. • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Customer Communications technologies such as Document Composition, Post Composition, Archiving Technologies, Content Management Tools, and Orchestration Workflows (ADF). Supplier Reference: - Minimum 3 years with at least on of Precisely DOC1 / Engage One Stack, FIS CSF Stack (potentially as suitable alternatives Opentext, Quadient). It Would Be Great If You Also Had: • Media Format Knowledge: Understanding of Page-Based Media formats like AFP/PDF. • Web and Digital Frameworks: Experience with Web Technologies and Digital Frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage project teams in the successful execution of projects using agile methodologies.
2. Act as a scrum master, facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
4. Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
5. Implement change management processes to address any scope changes or project deviations.
6. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile best practices within the project team.
7. Report project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficient in agile methodologies and experienced in acting as a scrum master.
2. Solid understanding of project management and change management principles.
3. Strong leadership skills to motivate and guide project teams towards successful project delivery.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and team members effectively.
5. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a fast paced environment.
6. Problem-solving skills to address project challenges and ensure project objectives are met.
Other Requirements
1.Agile or Scrum Master certification is preferred.
