Full job description

We are looking to recruit Plumber / Bathroom Fitter to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. In return we are offering a competitive salary depending on experience, company vehicle and the opportunity to progress.

As a Plumber / Bathroom Fitter, you’ll be working to the highest standard, completing work in Diss and surrounding area. The company prides themselves on offering the best in class service and are looking for a team member to meet this exacting standard.

You must have previous experience as a Plumber / Bathroom Fitter. All applicants must have a full UK driving license.

In return we are offering the job security of full time permanent (PAYE) work, good rates of pay, company vehicle, fuel card, holiday allowance (28 days including bank holidays), company pension etc. Further to this, there is the potential to progress within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair general plumbing and heating systems in residential and commercial buildings

- Undertake general plumbing duties, fitting bathrooms, replacing taps, basins and toilets etc.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively
- Provide excellent customer service and address client enquiries or concerns

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a similar role
- Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and other equipment necessary for the job
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor as required
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and estimations
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience in carpentry or assembly work (preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the functioning of heating systems
